It's been nearly a week since I've been back. Last night for the first time all the flat mates managed to be in the same room at the same time. There is only a small window of opportunity for this to happen as one of them works till late. It was quite nice actually and everyone seems to get along well.

We have the land lord coming to look at the place tonight and looking at Mel I feel we should be worried. Apparently the land lord is quite fickel and doesn't want Jo, one of our current flat mates, to stay after her lease expires because she wants to leave in three weeks to go to school down south. Either way we have to find someone and it makes me wonder if she wants to dump us after the lease ends (this Saturday) If that's the case I will give up on Wellington. Maybe it won't come to that, but there is little holding me here other than the flat I live in. I'll find out tonight perhaps if that worst case scenario is true.

After much screwing around, I managed to ring HP, then after that, I rang the American HP. I have to ship my laptop to a friends address and then they get it shipped for free to and from HP, then I have to get it shipped back to me from said friend. This wouldn't be an issue if the same laptops were sold in New Zealand. Actually, I don't get what the deal is as they're having massive recalls for all laptops with this fault, whatever I guess, I'll have working computer soon enough.
