Friday saw me miss my first class as Thursday saw me have a mid term and consequently drink at the pub quiz. I didn't wake up hung over or anything it just made the decision easier, sealing it of course with the Statistics New Zealand lady asking me a bunch of questions in the mid afternoon.
Saturday saw the flat empty and me watching what would have to be the greatest day in New Zealand sport. Two Golds, one of which nearly giving me a stroke, a silver and two bronzes. I rate one of those bronzes higher than the silver due to the guy having to row through the lake of fire then only to lose it in the last 200m and slip to third. Next time I hope he gets it. The day was also sealed when I found out we bet the Springboks 19-0 on the road.
Being a sunny day I decided to do my job and also look for my iTrip. I remember it falling down under the carpet in the boot (trunk) of my car near the spare tyre. I thought I'd get it later seeing as I didn't need it due to not having a car stereo. So when I did reach it I put my hand in a pool of water. Shit. I pull it out to find rust stains on it and when I try it after letting it try I can't see the LCD screen. Damn you car lagoon.
Sunday saw me waking up and heading to my sisters. Saw Mum, saw new tv my sister got. Saw bead making, saw myself saying goodbye to Mum with jacket and sauces in hand (thanks by the way) and saw myself making my way to the supermarket and as I was about to leave I saw Adrian, my old flatmate who was back from playing rugby in Italy. And just broken up with my ex flatmate slash his girlfriend. Shame really. Really saw myself using the word saw more than 10 times too.
Tuesday I decided to do that other job and eventually saw myself in my old flat, which looks rather swank with new carpet and a lick of paint and probably without us to be honest. The hallway looked wider without racks of clothes trying to dry clothes in the dimly corridor. Next it was off to the formerly haunted ex brothel. Yes, you read that right. I think it's better if I just leave it at that.
Oh, I've decided not to use my warehouse voucher on a stereo as really I would use my now working iTrip on it, so a $150 stereo has the same use to me as an $8 stereo, if such a thing exists.
