Rampage!!

I somehow yesterday managed to cripple the laundry room that is shared by the street. I'm guessing it's a fuse somewhere. It took me three goes to wash my clothes and by the end of it they were sitting in a pool of water. By 11pm I'm hanging clothes to dry out on the clothesline using a LED book reading lamp and trying to wring as much water out of my towels as I can, I get a lot.

I look out the next morning and my towels are on the ground. Upon closer inspection I had snapped the clothesline with two heavy towels. Destructive.

In other news I have new flat mates. All American and we have the 50/50 gender split for the first time in my flatting life. They seem keen to do communal food and I'm going along with it, but it's not really my style. I like being able to just cook pasta and eat, meals get more complicated when you have to coordinate timing for four and a meal big enough for four. But we'll see where this road takes us.

I've been considering a double degree, it would only be an extra year (plus a summer) but I have to weigh up if I want it or not. It gets a bit hairy with the exchange as I get a 22 point course, but only get 15 points for doing it overseas. The kicker is that I did two (semi) advanced econ courses (meaning 14 less points) and am short 10 points in one requirement. If the lady who rushed through my audit added up wrong, I could be 25 points short, our courses are 24 points max. These are 200-300 level points, I'd still need 31 points outside of the extra year, so that's two courses. It's a fair bit to consider and at the end I'd have to work out if the juice would be worth the squeeze.

Another thing would be that my schedule gets bizarre. I'm talking early mornings and late afternoons, crippling my day really.

I suppose if I saved my ass off and instead of doing summer I did another semester abroad to pick up the random two courses it could be more tempting, but I am feeling a little too old for this.
