It occurred to me on the long ride home that I forgot to mention the most significant event that happened to me on Monday in Zugdidi; I was grapple attacked by a Gypsy child. She just clung to my leg and didn't let go. So with a stubborn Gpsy clinging to my leg I kept on walking. People gave the usual long look at me, but this time for good reason. Eventually she let go; I didn't even swear at her. My friend couldn't believe as she's never had it happen to her or seen it happen before then.
In other news I'm told I should be moved soon. Someone from the Ministry of Education for Adjara rang me yesterday and when I asked them to ring back in 20 mins they didn't. So today I put money on my phone, which may not be necessary as I think it turned out to be a corporate number and told me they should have something by today or tomorrow. I will have to organise my own transport out of here. I had the horror thought of taking a marshutka or even worse walking with all of my baggage.
She then told me this would have been easier if I did this a month ago as it may be hard finding someone who wants me for just a month. Visions of my multiple requests flash before my eyes:
Received : October 12th
Hello Christopher,
About your wish to move to another place: unfortunately, we are not able to transfer you anywhere right now, but we are working on it and as soon as we have result, we'll contact you.
I am sending you phone numbers of the volunteers, who are placed near to you (see the attached file), so that you can contact them.

And that was my second request.
I'll let you know when/if I move.
